One of the most strategic projects I've been involved with over the past year is the development of the Emerging Scholars Network (ESN).

On March 1, we officially launched ESN — and I hope that many of you will not only visit EmergingScholars.org for the full details, but also take the opportunity to join. It's easy to join online, and it's totally free. The many benefits of membership (including book and subscription discounts) make that a particularly good deal.

As a member of the "ESN Work Group" (something of an executive planning board) and as ESN's technology guy, I've been privileged to work closely with Stan Wallace, InterVarsity's Director of Faculty Ministry, and half a dozen other colleagues on the technical and organizational launch. We have about 700 members already. Will you join us in prayer for 1,000 members by the end of May 2004?
